ADHD has been helped significantly by Healing Prompt Therapy.
ADHD is a label for a behavior. This behavior can have emotional, physical, or developmental causes, and is often a combination of these.
Examples of emotional causes are past trauma or low confidence. Affirmations and brain development prompts would be recommended.
An example of physical causes is an allergy or sensitivity to food that causes hyperactivity, brain fog and/or lack of concentration. These would be identified by the therapist, and then allergy prompts and food sensitivity prompts would be recommended.
Some examples of developmental causes are a low auditory or visual processing ability, or a left eye or ear being dominant in a right handed student. These cause difficulty in learning and retaining information, which causes the student to have a hard time keeping up even if they were to try hard. They aren't able to sustain attention because it is difficult for them. Correction of eye/ear dominance and brain development prompts would be recommended.
All of these issues and most others can be worked through with Healing Prompt Therapy.
